7 years! 💛 Thank you for serving.

Thank you for giving.

Thank you for inviting.

Thank you for believing.

Because 7 years later, we look back and we see all that God has done.

But really here’s what I want to believe this morning. 7 years isn’t the finished line.

I don’t believe we’re celebrating everything God has done because we’re finished.

I believe we’re celebrating everything God has done because it gives us hope for what God can do in the next season.

And the God who has been faithful behind us is before us.

He’s waiting.

He’s ahead of us.

I believe some of Zao’s greatest days haven’t happened yet.

They’re ahead of us.

As this day comes to a close, 25 years later, we pause to remember and to grieve.

Through the sorrow, we hold fast to the promise that God is near. He has not forgotten. He has not abandoned.

“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted.”
— Psalm 34:18

Matthew 18:3–4 – And he said: ‘Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.’
