In week one of Misquoted, we take on a phrase a lot of people grew up hearing and treat as Scripture: you have to be baptized to be saved. But God never said that. This message shows that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus, and that baptism is not the requirement of salvation but the response of someone already saved. When you go under the water you are saying you died with Christ, you buried your sin, and you have been raised to a new life.
